Who are you?
I am the lovechild of a cloud and a ball of yarn
How did you start in fashion?
I don't have the feeling of "having started" fashion at any point. It's something that's always been within me, so I naturally studied it.
How would you define your style?
It's an edgy style reinventing the classic codes of knitwear to find new shapes, great yarns and a certain nonchalant feeling.
What inspires you?
the moment of day between light and dark. The undefinable inspires and obsesses me.
A few words about this collection...
This winter collection is a bit different in the sense that I wanted a simplicity that would let the colours take center stage: the inbetween blues and greens are slightly grey. It is also the first time I am using Camel yarn, and it offers comfort and warmth.
What's your favorite piece in our selection?
Undoubtedly the high collar, it is a good alternative to turtle necks that are unbearable for a whole day. It is a high neck, very comfy, very cosy with a very soft cashmere and a subtle colour!
What are you most proud of?
A pride goes before a fall
Where do you manufacture your products?
The knits are made in Italy and France
Where can we find your collection?
The collection can be found in Verzameld Werk in Gent, Belgium (on appointments) From this season on the shop Margareth & Moi in Lyon is selling the collection.
If your brand was a music, a movie, a cocktail...
the collection could be "habits" by Love To, the movie "Shirley" (without any intention to sound pretentious, but it could not be a cocktail as its ingredients are too unfathomable.
